Boy Dies After Being Found Unresponsive In NYC Home, Police Say

NEW YORK CITY — A 2-year-old boy died after being found unconscious inside a New York City home on Monday, according to police and a report.

The incident happened at a home near 151st Street and 12th Avenue around 2:10 p.m., according to police and PIX11.

Officers who responded to the scene found the boy unresponsive. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

The city medical examiner will determine the official cause of death.

An investigation remains ongoing.
