14-Year-Old Pleads Not Guilty To Murder In Fatal Shooting Of Teen Girl
The NYPD is still looking for a 12-year-old boy who they believe handed a gun to the shooter.
NEW YORK CITY — A 14-year-old boy charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of a teen girl near a New York City school on Monday has pled not guilty to charges.
The suspect pled guilty to charges at a Thursday court hearing and is being held in jail without bail, a judge ordered.
The 14-year-old has also been charged with attempted murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

The NYPD believe the shooting stemmed from a dispute between the Forest Over Everything crew and a crew called Kreep On Davidson.
Evette Jeffrey, 16, was found with a gunshot wound to the head around 5:05 p.m. near the Bronx Career and College Preparatory High School on Home Street and Tinton Avenue, Patch previously reported.

Officials have said she was not the intended target of the shooting, and she had been riding her scooter near the school when she was shot.
Jeffrey was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals, where she was later pronounced dead.
