Dead Baby Found Inside NYC Restaurant: NYPD

NEW YORK CITY — A dead baby was found inside a Lower Manhattan restaurant Monday morning, police said.

The baby was discovered around 10 a.m. inside Sophie’s Cuban Cuisine, according to the New York Post.

The baby was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The cause of the baby's death will be determined by the city's medical examiner.

It is not known if there is any criminality involved.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation remains ongoing.
