Dead Body Found Floating In Hudson River: FDNY
The victim's identity has not been released pending family notification.
NEW YORK CITY — A dead body was recovered from the Hudson River Wednesday evening, the FDNY said.
The body was taken out of the water near Pier 40 at 347 West Street.

The person was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released pending family notification.
On Tuesday, two people were rescued from the Hudson River near Pier 26 in Manhattan around 10 a.m.

A third person was reported missing in the waters Tuesday afternoon.
It's not known at this time if the two incidents are connected.
An investigation remains ongoing.
