Derrick Rose Traded to NBA's New York Knicks

The New York Knicks traded for All-Star point guard Derrick Rose on Wednesday, according to multiple reports.

ESPN's Marc J. Spears reports the Knicks will surrender center Robin Lopez, guard Jerian Grant and guard Jose Calderon to Chicago.

The three-time All-Star and 2011 NBA MVP averaged 16.4 points and 4.7 assists per game for the Bulls last season — both the second-lowest totals of his career. He played in just 66 games in 2015-16, though that was the most since his MVP season.

Rose has a long injury history, including a torn left ACL in the 2012 NBA playoffs and torn meniscus in his right knee in 2014.

The Knicks confirmed the deal on Twitter with a photo of the guard.
