Donald Trump Drops Off Super Rich List Amid NYC Woes: Forbes Ranking

But former Mayor Michael Bloomberg, whose wealth grew to $96 billion, is 10th on The Forbes 400 ranking of America's super rich.

NEW YORK CITY — Former president and now-former New Yorker Donald Trump is no longer one of America's richest billionaires, according to a new ranking.

Trump dropped off The Forbes 400, an annual list of America's super rich released Tuesday, after his net worth nosedived $600 million in the past year, the outlet explained.

He's still quite wealthy, with a $2.6 billion net worth, Forbes found. But that left him $300 million short of the ranking's cutoff.

"Donald Trump is no longer rich enough for the country’s most exclusive club," a Forbes report states.

And it appears some of Trump's recent business and legal woes in New York City had helped eject him from the list.

Trump has a stake in Midtown's 1290 Avenue of the Americas, a building is down roughly $60 million and recently lost its biggest tenant, Forbes reported.

He is also on trial in a $250 million civil lawsuit by New York Attorney General Letitia James that accuses him of lying about his wealth and could end with him losing control of several of his iconic New York City properties.

Forbes noted that Trump's recent liquidation of assets, including a public golf course in The Bronx, could help pay his mounting legal bills in the New York City civil trial, and his other criminal cases.

So, which New York City-based billionaire ranked highest on the Forbes list?

Surprise, surprise: former Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Bloomberg, who has consistently remained the richest of New York City's rich, is 10th on the ranking.

Unlike Trump, his wealth grew in the past year, ballooning to $96.3 billion, according to Forbes.
