NEW YORK CITY, NY — Donald Trump's gag order was reinstated in his New York fraud case Thursday, court records show.

On Thursday, a four-judge panel denied Trump's lawyers' request to have the order vacated, in effect ending a pause on the order enacted earlier this month, court records show.

Thursday's decision to reinstate the order came from a four-judge panel — and Engoron said he plans to "rigorously" enforce the order, according to the Associated Press.

The gag order was initially imposed in October after Trump made "disparaging" comments about Judge Arthur Engoron's staff — which he later twice violated, racking up $15,000 in fines.

The decision comes two weeks after Trump's lawyers lobbied for a mistrial, claiming there is "bias" in the case, court records show.
