  1. Days before they had planned to go on strike, NYC's doormen union announced on Tuesday they had reached a tentative agreement with The Realty Advisory Board. Among the terms agreed to, workers would gain a 12.6 percent raise over four years, $3,000 bonuses, and employer-payed healthcare. If an agreement hadn't been reached, however, Upper West Siders had been preparing to man their doors themselves on a volunteer basis. (New York City Patch)
  2. Despite a federal judge's Monday ruling against mask mandates on public transportation, straphangers on the MTA's subway, trains, and buses are still required to mask up, at least for the time being. (New York City Patch)
  3. A man accused of abusing twin 4-year-olds in Pennsylvania narrowly escaped from the police in Midtown, after they had cornered him. Isaiah Metz, 22, faces 100 other charges in his home state, and reportedly assaulted the NYPD officers attempting to arrest him. (New York City Patch)
  4. Mayor Adams will release his "tax information" (although not necessarily his returns) after all, he announced at a Tuesday press conference, reversing an unprecedented stance he had taken against doing so several days ago. He still hasn't committed to when or what he will release. (New York City Patch)
  5. A Queens Assemblywoman who has represented her district for over 30 years is being accused by her primary opponent of forging signatures to get her on the June ballot. Vivian Cook, who represents Jamaica, is also being out funded by District Leader Anthony Andrews. Welcome to election season in NYC. (New York City Patch)
