NEW YORK CITY — Police are searching for a driver who intentionally struck a 29-year-old man in Manhattan.

The incident happened on Monday, around 11:30 p.m. near East 4th Street and Avenue D, police said.

Officers found the 29-year-old lying in the roadway. The victim was transported to a local hospital for his injuries.

According to a PIX11 report, a sedan crashed into the man on purpose and fled the scene after the crash
