Off-Duty School Safety Agent Arrested On Rape, Sex Abuse Charges

Brian Frett, 39, was arrested within the confines of the 77th Precinct.

NEW YORK CITY — An off-duty NYPD school safety agent was arrested Wednesday is facing rape and sex abuse charges, police said.

Brian Frett, 39, is also facing sexual misconduct, forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child under 17 and unlawful imprisonment charges.

Frett, 39, was arrested at 6:15 a.m. within the confines of the 77th Precinct, which covers Crown Heights and Prospect Heights in Brooklyn.
