George Washington Bridge Delays Disrupt Commute After Tractor-Trailer Accident
The delays occurred on the Cross Bronx Expressway.
NEW YORK CITY — A tractor trailer accident on the George Washington Bridge snarled traffic both in and out of Manhattan and caused delays of up to an hour and a half during the Friday morning commute.
Delays on the bridge were as much as 90 minutes on the upper level, the Port Authority said, and 60 minutes on the lower level.
Avoid the bridge if you can this morning.
