This Guy Has The Best Seat On The Subway

One 4 train rider turned a train into his living room.

NEW YORK, NY — A subway seat can sometimes be a precious commodity. But one straphanger changed the game by bringing his own seats.

A Reddit user captured video of a man lounging on a brown leather couch that was somehow squeezed between the doors on a 4 train. He's got a bottle in his hand, his legs out and a nonchalant look on his face.

Other commuters in the video, posted online Monday, seem unfazed by the man turning their car into a living room.

Another Reddit poster said he saw the unidentified man above ground balancing the furniture on a foldable wheelchair or walker, which sits next to him in the video. He was "swearing loudly and jumping from one end to the other as it kept starting to tip off the tiny wheelchair thing," user AlterdCarbon wrote.

Another video posted to Facebook Monday captured a similar-looking man and another helpful straphanger trying to carry the bulky piece down some stairs from a platform at New Lots Avenue.

"I wanna see how they get that through the turnstile, too," one person says in the video.

Whoever he is, the industrious commuter arguably bested the guy who infamously brought his motorcycle on a train earlier this month.
