Husband Charged With Murder Of Wife In NYC Home

Police found the victim unresponsive with a head injury.

NEW YORK CITY — A 73-year-old man has been arrested and charged after allegedly killing his wife in their New York City home on Monday, police announced on Tuesday.

Jeffrey Kolin has been charged with murder, manslaughter, strangulation, and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

Kolin is accused of attacking Marsha Greenberg in their home near Barnes and Brady avenues in Pelham Parkway around 7:30 a.m., police said.

Police found Greenberg unresponsive with a head injury. She was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Kolin is expected to be arraigned on charges on Tuesday.
