The Stand Comedy Club Brings 4-Day Festival To Union Square

NEW YORK CITY — A four-day comedy festival will take place in the Union Square area this weekend, featuring a number of notable comedians.

The inaugural NYLaughs Festival will take place from June 5 to June 8, at an outdoor stage in Union Square, as well as multiple iconic venues including The Stand and Irving Plaza in Manhattan, officials said.

Headlining the NYLaughs Festival will be "Comedy in the Square," a free outdoor performance on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9:15 p.m in Union Square Park’s North Plaza.

This vibrant event will feature a professionally designed stage with seating for approximately 400 and ample standing room, inviting the public to experience top-tier comedy and music in a unique, open-air setting.

Comedians featured in the festival include Vinny Guadagnino, who will perform at Irving Plaza on June 7 Michael Che, Pete Davidson, Hank Azaria and Sam Jay.

Attendees can enjoy delicious food and beverage service from Torch & Crown Beer Garden in the Union Square Park Pavilion, as well as the neighboring Union Square Night Market by Urbanspace and other local businesses.

In addition, the NYLaughs Fest will offer engaging content and unique events, including a special Sunday Supper on June 8 at The Stand’s restaurant.
