NEW YORK CITY — Those wanting to see the Knicks-Celtics play in Game 3 at Madison Square Garden Saturday will have to pay upwards of $600 — just for the cheapest ticket. The average paid ticket price on the resale market approached $2,000 Thursday.
The cheapest ticket options Friday on SeatGeek start around $800 in section 304. On the Gametime app, prices ranged from $615-700 with seats in the 300 level and Chase Bridge.
The cheapest ticket on StubHub on Friday is listed for $667 in section 306.

The average resale ticket price was $1,956 for Game 3 and $1,716 for Game 4, both at Madison Square Garden, according to ticketing technology company Victory Live, which analyzes transactions, not listings, on the secondary market.
TickPick said that its lowest get-in price was $706, and according to them, that was the most expensive Knicks ticket on record.
