Man Arrested After Trying To Gain Access To Trump Tower Roof

NEW YORK CITY — A 30-year-old man has been arrested after he tried to get to the roof of Trump Tower in Manhattan on Monday, according to reports and police.

Officers responded to the scene around 4:30 p.m. and observed the man running around on the fifth floor and trying to get to the roof of the building, according to a New York Daily News report.

Video posted on social media shows security officials evacuating people from the atrium.

Police officials told the Daily News that the man appeared to be "emotionally disturbed."
