Man Arrested After Sexually Abusing Corpse On NYC Subway

NEW YORK CITY — A man has been arrested and is accused of sexually abusing a corpse in a New York City subway train earlier this month, police announced.

Felix Rojas, 44, of Brooklyn, was arrested Sunday and charged with rape in connection to the April 9 incident, police said.

The incident happened around 11:45 p.m. aboard an R train at the Whitehall Station in Lower Manhattan, police said.

MTA employees and police found the dead body the next morning and reviewed security footage where they saw the suspect perform the sex acts, Patch previously reported.

The 37-year-old man, whose body was sexually abused, has since been identified, according to reports.

The victim's wife, identified him as Jorge Gonzalez, according to New York Post and New York Daily News.
