Man Found Dead Inside Union Square Park: NYPD

The man was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

NEW YORK CITY — A man was found dead inside Union Square Park Wednesday night, police said.

Officers at 11:30 p.m. found the unresponsive man inside the park, lying face up on the grass.

The man was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The identity of the man has not been released pending family notification, police said.

The city's medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
