The 37-year-old man, whose body was sexually abused, has since been identified as Jorge Gonzalez.

"This conduct is egregious, and we will prosecute this case to the fullest extent,” District Attorney Alvin Bragg said. “While transit crime is down, I want New Yorkers to know that we are continuing to work with our law enforcement partners to make our bustling subway system safe. My thoughts are with Jorge Gonzalez’s loved ones, who are continuing to mourn his tragic loss.”
