Man Shot, Injured Outside NYC Pizzeria, Police Say
The incident happened outside a Lower East Side pizzeria, police said.
NEW YORK CITY — A man was shot in the leg outside a Manhattan pizzeria Sunday evening, police said.
The incident happened outside 99 Cent Pizza, located at 156 Delancey St. around 4:10 p.m., police said.
Officers at the scene found a 28-year-old man with a bullet wound to his left leg. He was transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.

According to reports, bystanders said they heard a shot and saw people running.
A motive for the shooting is not yet known at this time. A description of the suspect was not readily available as of Monday morning.
