NEW YORK CITY — A man was slashed, and another person was pushed onto the subway tracks at a Manhattan subway station late Saturday night, police said.

The incident happened at the 57th Street subway station in Midtown around 11:10 p.m.

A 39-year-old man was found slashed in the left hand, and a 37-year-old man who was pushed onto the tracks suffered an elbow injury.

Both men were taken to Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition, police said.
