Man Slashed Outisde NYC Subway Station, Suspect Still At Large: NYPD

The suspect fled the scene after the unprovoked attack, police said.

NEW YORK CITY — A 27-year-old man was slashed in the face outside a Lower Manhattan subway station on Monday, police said.

The incident happened during the morning rush hour around 7:50 a.m. outside the East Broadway subway station in the Lower East Side.

The victim was waling out the station when an unidentified man approached him and slashed him across the face.

The victim was taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition, police said.
