Man Fatally Stabbed Inside NYC Subway Station, NYPD Says

NEW YORK CITY — A man was fatally stabbed inside a Lower Manhattan subway station Friday morning, police said.

The incident happened inside the Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall subway station around 8:37 a.m., police said.

Officers found the victim unresponsive with multiple stab wounds to the torso.

The man was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Details on a possible suspect were not readily available.

There have been no arrests and an investigation remains ongoing.
