Man Stabbed Inside Manhattan Store, Suspect In Custody: NYPD
According to police, the stabbing stemmed from a domestic dispute between two men.
NEW YORK CITY —A 21-year-old man was stabbed inside a store in Manhattan on Wednesday, police said.
The incident happened inside Sally Beauty Supply on West 17th Street and 6th Ave. around 10:30 a.m.
The victim was a worker in the store, according to police.

A 21-year-old suspect has been taken into custody and has been charged with assault.

The 21-year-old victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition. The extent of his injuries is not known at this time.
An officer responding to the scene was slashed in the hand. He was also taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
A knife was recovered at the scene.
An investigation remains ongoing.
