Manhattan Restaurant Owner Arrested After Allegedly Withholding Workers' Wages
A Manhattan restaurant owner was arrested on Tuesday, after prosecutors said he stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from his employees.
NEW YORK, NY – A New York City restaurant owner was arrested on Tuesday after he allegedly failed to pay his employees hundreds of thousands of dollars in wages, prosecutors said.
Konstantinos Aronis stole tips and overtime pay from employees at his three Manhattan restaurants, according to New York attorney general Eric Schneiderman. Aronis, the owner of K.M.S. Restaurant Corp., didn't adequately pay 34 employees during a four year period from 2012 to 2016.
