Trick-or-treaters rejoice, drivers beware. Open Streets will extend to nearly 100 city streets Monday afternoon.

NEW YORK CITY — Goblins, ghouls, ghosts and gremlins will hit the pavement of New York Monday for the city's first ever "Trick-Or-Streets," the city announced.
Nearly 100 streets in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and The Bronx will close to cars between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. so that Halloween revelers can maraud through New York's Open Streets, according to the Transportation department.
"We hope every family and every child has a safe and enjoyable Halloween with special evening Trick-or-Streets across the entire city,” said Mayor Eric Adams. “Happy Halloween, New Yorkers!”
