(Gothamist)

  4. A 45-year-old delivery worker, Yan Zhiwen, was shot to death in the chest in Forest Hills, Queens, on Saturday night. His death came only hours after Mayor Adams held a rare meeting with NYPD precinct commanders to discuss strategies for combatting violence on the city's streets. (CBS NY)
  5. Amazon warehouse workers on Staten Island will find out today whether they gained enough votes to unionize, less than a month after a much larger neighboring warehouse became the first Amazon facility in the country to do so.
