MTA Subway Delays Hit Multiple Lines During Friday Rush Hour
Fair to say, straphangers on these seven lines likely experienced frustration.

NEW YORK CITY — Friday morning's rush hour proved frustrating for scores of New York City straphangers as "severe delays" hit multiple lines, officials said.
Seven subway lines showed active delays as of 9:30 a.m., according to the MTA's site.
Trains headed north on the 2 and 3 lines were severely delayed as crews had to remove a train that had its brakes activated at President Street-Medgar Evers College, a post stated.

The 4, 5 and 6 lines likewise had "severe delays" in both directions as MTA crews removed debris from the tracks that activated a train's brakes near 59th Street, according to a post.
A line trains headed north ran with delays after medics assisted someone in need of medical help at Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue, the MTA posted.
