More Than 20 Arrests Made At ICE Protest Inside Trump Tower

NEW YORK CITY — Police arrested more than 20 demonstrators during an ICE protest inside Trump Tower in Manhattan on Monday.
The protesters took over the lobby of the building around 12:45 p.m.
They were calling for the release of inmates from a controversial El Salvador prison, according to a New York Post report.

Protesters were heard chanting, “Bring them back! Bring them home!," according to the report and social media videos.
The protest on Monday comes a day after an ICE protest in Lower Manhattan, where dozens of demonstrators were arrested.

In addition, the protest came as the Trump administration sent National Guard troops to Los Angeles, where protesters have clashed with police over ICE raids.
A separate protest is supposedly planned to take place outside 26 Federal Plaza in Lower Manhattan on Monday.
