New York City Beer Week: Events In Manhattan

NEW YORK, NY — New York City Beer Week officially kicks off on Saturday with a giant beer bash at the Brooklyn Expo Center, but bars and pubs throughout the city are offering deals and special events starting Friday.

We rounded up the best beer week deals happening this weekend in Manhattan:

• East Coast vs West Coast at Dewey's Pub, 135 West 30th St: Starting on Friday, this Chelsea bar is offering a $10 flight of four beers with pours hailing from both coasts.
• Luke's Lobster all-day happy hour, various locations: All of the lobster joint locations that sell beer and wine will be offering their beverages at happy hour prices all day for the rest of beer week. Find your closest location here.
• Cheese Grille, 188 Allen St.: Get a grilled cheese sandwich and a beer for just $7. Plus, all craft beers are 50% off.
• Heartland Brewery at the Empire State Building, 350 5th Ave.: Specials abound.
• Mayhem & Stout, 230 Park Ave: The pub's beers are available for $5 a pint and $20 a pitcher from 5-9 p.m. on Friday.
• Beer Brewing Bootcamp at United By Blue, 245 Elizabeth St.: For $45, get a how-to demonstration for brewing your own beer.
