Bookies give the Yankees a 14.3 percent chance to win the world series, which is best in the major leagues, and the Mets a 4 percent chance to win. Reigning champion, and heated rival of the Yankees, the Boston Red Sox are No. 2 with a 13.3 percent chance and rounding out the top five are the Houston Astros (13.3 percent), Los Angeles Dodgers (11.1 percent) and Philadelphia Phillies (7.7 percent).
