The Upper East Side's popular Butterfield Market has some trash trouble.

The city's Sanitation Department called out the market for violating a new law requiring all trash to be set out in bins while awaiting pickup.
"Butterfield Market?" DSNY wrote in a post, along with an image of a row of black trash bags sitting on the sidewalk curb. "It’d be better if you didn’t…"
Butterfield's owner, Joelle Obsatz, told Patch that an order of large bins was expected on Friday.
In happier news, Eater NYC came out with lists of the "Hottest New Restaurants" for Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens, as well as bars. Click on the links to check them out.
A top bagel shop expanded for the first time in 40 years.
Queens-based Utopia Bagels announced plans to open a new storefront in Midtown.
"See you in 2024 Midtown Manhattan," a post from the shop read.
But three Lenox Hill establishments weren't so fortunate.
A pair of restaurants — Aperitivo and Under The Bridge — and longtime coffee shop Joe Coffee shop all suddenly shuttered around the New Year.
