NYC Snow Latest: Up To 2 Inches Starting Late Friday
New Yorkers could wake up Saturday to a winter wonderland.

NEW YORK CITY — A winter wonderland could greet New Yorkers when they awake this weekend.
Up to 2 inches of snow could fall across the city starting Friday evening and into Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service's forecast.
The city is under a hazardous weather outlook.

"Snow accumulations of an inch or two could cause slippery conditions late tonight into Saturday morning," the outlook states.
A travel advisory will be in effect Friday night into Saturday morning, city emergency management officials said.

Snow could start about 10 p.m., with flakes becoming more likely after 1 a.m., the forecast states.
Light to potentially moderate snowfall is expected, although if the low pressure system moves north it could lead to up to 4 inches of snow, according to a weather briefing.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 42. Wind chill values between 25 and 35. Breezy, with a northwest wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph.
Friday Night
A slight chance of light snow between 10pm and 1am, then snow likely after 1am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 30. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northeast after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Saturday
A chance of light snow before noon, then a chance of snow between noon and 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 38. Wind chill values between 20 and 30. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest 12 to 17 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
