
NEW YORK CITY — Several subway lines were rerouted and experienced delays Monday morning, adding more headaches to a day that was expected to include heavy winds and rain all day. Here's what was going on during the Monday commute:
- An investigation at 14th St. has no M trains running between Essex St and Forest Hills-71 Av.
- Southbound F trains are running express between 42 St.-Bryant Park to W 4th St.-Washington Sq.
- Southbound A, C and E trains were running with delays because of signal problems at Canal St.
- Some southbound E trains are running via the F line from Kew Gardens-Union Tpke to Jamaica 179 St.
- L trains had delays because of a signal problem at 8th Avenue.
- Hudson Yards-bound 7 trains had delays because of signal problems at 111st St.
- Northbound M and R trains were experiencing delays because of switch problems at Forest Hills-71st Avenue.
- And southbound N and W trains were running with delays because of signal problems at Astoria Blvd.
