NYC Weather Forecast: Floods Possible As Storms Loom All Week
There's a chance of rain almost every day this week.

NEW YORK, NY — The sun was nice while it lasted — but it won't last long. Midweek flash flooding could strike New York City as a string of possible thunderstorms looms over much of this week, the National Weather Service says.
The weather service issued a hazardous weather outlook warning of a small chance of flash flooding in the metropolitan area from late Tuesday through Wednesday night. That's around the time that thunderstorms and potentially heavy rain could strike the city.
A chance of rain will linger throughout Tuesday, but the best chance of rough weather starts in the evening and will last into Wednesday, the weather service's forecast shows. More than a third of an inch of rain is expected to hit Central Park from 8 p.m. Tuesday to 2 p.m. Wednesday, according to the forecast.

That might not be all — there's at least a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms every day from Tuesday to Saturday, the forecast says.
Monday should be partly sunny and dry, the forecast shows. Temperatures will be in the low to mid-80s for the early part of the week, though Tuesday will be "noticeably more humid," the weather service says.
