NYC Weather Forecast: More Floods Threaten As Storms Continue
More heavy rain could lead to flash flooding across the NYC area.

NEW YORK, NY — Don't put those boots back in the closet. More thunderstorms could bring heavy rain and flash flooding to New York City in the early part of the week, the National Weather Service says.
More than half an inch of rain is expected to soak Central Park by early Wednesday morning as a chance of storms steadily looms, the NWS forecast shows.
The weather service warned that the storms could produce some flash flooding in the metropolitan area. The weather service put the city under a flash flood watch until midnight Tuesday.

The wet weather will follow the weekend deluge that drenched parts of the city in nearly two inches of rain and sparked a flash flood warning.
High temperatures in the low to mid-80s will accompany the potentially heavy rainfall before sunshine and a high near 88 arrive Wednesday, the weather service says. Conditions will be much the same on Thursday before more storms threaten Friday, according to the forecast.
