NYC Weather: Hazardous Outlook Remains As City Sizzles
Temperatures are expected to be dangerously high Friday.

NEW YORK CITY – After the rain comes the heat.
Following days of drenching storms, some so heavy they left motorists trapped on flooded streets and commuters wading through waist-deep water in subway stations, New York City is under a heat advisory Friday.
The National Weather Service put a hazardous weather outlook in place Thursday that will stretch through to 8 p.m. Friday. The heat index could near 100 degrees, the service said.
