NYC Weather: Hazardously Cold Outside Friday

Forecasters warned, "Bundle up if traveling at all outside."

NEW YORK CITY — It's hazardously cold in New York City Friday.

The National Weather Service issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for wind chill values this and Saturday morning that will hover at 0 degrees.

Friday's high temperature is predicted to be 26 degrees, which forecasters noted on Twitter is about 10 to 15 degrees below normal 39 degrees.

Thursday's remaining snow, and any standing water, will freeze and create icy spots on untreated roads, forecasters said.

"Proceed with caution," they wrote on Twitter. "Bundle up if traveling at all outside."
