NYC Weather: Rain To Soak City Throughout Gloomy Weekend
The wet weather is expected to come with warmer than usual temperatures.

NEW YORK — Put away the scarf and get out the umbrella — rain will soak New York City throughout a gloomy and unusually warm weekend, the National Weather Service says.
At least a slight chance of rain will loom over all of Friday, when the mercury will reach a high near 51 degrees, about eight degrees above normal for this time of year, according to the weather service.
But drivers in the tri-state area should watch out Friday morning for black ice that formed in some places where temperatures dipped below freezing, the weather service warns.

Saturday will also be unusually warm with a high near 50 degrees, but Sunday will be closer to normal with a high near 44, the weather service says. Sunshine is expected to return on Monday.
