NYC Weather: Snow Predicted After Balmy Monday
The high on Monday will be 60 degrees, forecasters predict. On Tuesday, it'll snow.

NEW YORK CITY — Snow is predicted to fall in New York City after a warm and sunny start to the week with a high of 60 degrees, forecasters predict.
Temperatures will plummet Monday night to 38 degrees as a cold front moves in bringing rain that's expected to turn into snow Tuesday morning into the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Up to half an inch of accumulation is forecast.
The temperatures could feel as low as 25 degrees with winds gusting as high as 30 mph, forecasters said.

Wednesday will likely see clear and sunny skies with clouds moving in toward the end of the week and temperatures will stay brisk, according to forecasters.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 59. Southeast wind 3 to 5 mph.
Monday Night
A 30 percent chance of rain after 3am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 37. Light and variable wind becoming southwest 5 to 7 mph after midnight.
Tuesday
Rain and snow likely before 2pm, then a slight chance of snow between 2pm and 3pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a temperature falling to around 32 by 5pm. Wind chill values between 20 and 30. Northwest wind 10 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Tuesday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 23. Wind chill values between 10 and 20. Blustery, with a northwest wind 13 to 20 mph.
Wednesday
Sunny, with a high near 34. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
