Photos: Intrepid New Yorkers Brave Winter Storm Kenan

These New Yorkers bundled up and hit (or slushed) the city streets.

NEW YORK CITY — The major Winter Storm, dubbed Kenan by forecasters, frosted New York City with a thick layer of snow Friday and Saturday.

But even as forecasters warned of near white-out conditions across the tristate area and snow accumulation of nearly a foot in the city, New Yorkers hit the streets.

Well, we clomped anyway.

Here are just a moments few of the intrepid city dwellers who pulled on their boots, wrapped up their scarves and braved the storm.
