Investigators say a suspect fired a gun at a police officer on Long Island on Saturday.

According to police, the officer saw the suspect trying to drive away from a crash on Parkdale Drive in North Babylon.
Moments later, his vehicle stopped working, and he got out and ran, allegedly firing his gun at the officer chasing him.
