The jury had previously reached a partial verdict on four of the five counts but had failed to reach a verdict on the racketeering charge.

Prosecutors had called on Judge Arun Subramanian to sentence the music mogul to more than 11 years, while Combs' lawyers are asking for him to be released with 14 months time already served.

If he was convicted of one of the top charges, Combs could have been facing the possibility of life in prison.

Prosecutors allege Combs created "a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in" various crimes, such as "sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice."

In addition, Combs used his businesses and employees to carry out, facilitate, and cover up his abuse and commercial sex, according to prosecutors.

The trial began on May 13.
