SEE IT: Trio Robs Man Of Cellphone In Jamaica, Police Say

The three men hit the victim with a bottle and nabbed his phone last month, police say.

JAMAICA, NY — Police are looking for a trio who they say beat a man and stole his cellphone in Jamaica last month. The three men approached the 23-year-old as he was using his phone on 173rd Street around 1:20 a.m. on Sept. 20, the NYPD said.

The robbers grabbed the phone, punched the man several times and beat him with a bottle before fleeing eastbound on Jamaica Avenue, police said. The man suffered a cut to his head but was not hospitalized, police said.

Police have put out two surveillance videos of the suspects. They're described as black men who are 18 to 28 years old.
