A police spokesperson could not immediately say what led to the killing or whether it involved one or multiple shooters. Cops are still investigating the incident, police said.
The deaths came amid a recent citywide increase in gunplay and a mass shooting in Brownsville, Brooklyn that killed one person and injured 11 others last month.
