‘Skylift’ Attraction Offers NYC Views 900 Feet In The Air: Report

NEW YORK CITY — A new attraction at the Top of the Rock in Manhattan debuted earlier this week.

"The Skylift" will allow visitors to enjoy a 360-degree, panoramic view of the city’s most famous landmarks 70 stories up 30 Rockefeller Plaza, officials said.

The glass-fenced and rotating platform elevates an additional three stories for visitors, according to an NBC News 4 report.

The Skylift experience spans five minutes, not including the time it takes to rise to the top and return to the bottom. Up to 13 guests (and an attendant) can experience Skylift at a time, officials said.

Skylift can be added to any Top of the Rock ticket for $35. VIP tickets include Skylift, offers guests expedited entry and priority elevator access.

Skylift at Top of the Rock is located at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, with an entrance on 50th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues.

The attraction is open daily from 8 a.m. to midnight; last entry is at 11:10pm. Tickets can be purchased here.
