Smokey Smell In NYC Comes From Pennsylvania Fire, Officials Say
Breaking: Could you smell smoke in the city this morning?

NEW YORK, NY — Did you notice a particularly smokey smell when you stepped outside in the city this morning?
City officials say it's coming from a fire in Morrisville, Pennsylvania, about 46 miles as the crow flies from the edge of southern Brooklyn.
A massive junkyard fire in the town on the Pennsylvania-New Jersey border started Wednesday night and burned into Thursday morning, according to local news reports. The fire was under control by about 3 a.m., but crews were still working on extinguishing hot spots, according to 6ABC.
