Soho House Gets Pranked By Sassy Sidewalk Chalk Messages
"Now entering: the douche zone," someone wrote in chalk on the sidewalk outside the Soho House.
The Bowery Boogie has the exclusive on how an anonymous hooligan wrote in sidewalk chalk outside the Soho House on Ludlow Street on Wednesday night: "Warning entering a douche zone" and "Warning - bullshit zone ahead."
A tipster told the Boogie workers from the Soho House came out an hour after the person wrote the hefty burns and washed the chalk away.
Patch made a call to the Soho House on Friday for a statement on why they might have a "douche" reputation. A spokesperson for the exclusive club said, "I have no idea what you're talking about. I guess I have a job to do and other things to worry about."

The Soho House wing on the Lower East Side opened in June at 139 Ludlow Street, a building that was previously a funeral home.
