Standing Rock Rally NYC: Protestors Plan March To Trump Tower
New York City protestors plan to march to Trump Tower on Saturday in protest of the planned Dakota Access Pipeline.

NEW YORK, NY — Hundreds of protestors are planning to march to Trump Tower on Saturday to protest the planned Dakota Access Pipeline in North Dakota
The protestors are planning to start at the main branch New York Public Library on Saturday and walk to Trump Tower. The rally is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. and outside the library, and the march will begin at 2 p.m.

The activists have organized Saturday's march six days before the national "Rise With Standing Rock" action in Washington, D.C. For months, activists around the nation and in North Dakota have organized to oppose the planned oil pipeline that would cut through the Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota.
