The city's furry forecaster makes his winter weather decree.

STATEN ISLAND, NY — Staten Island Chuck took to social media early Wednesday morning to tell winter-weary New Yorkers just how much more there was in store.

The good news is, he did not see his shadow. Under Groundhog Day lore, that means an early spring.

Chuck appeared in a Facebook Live screening broadcast from the Staten Island Zoo early Wednesday morning.

The prognosticator boasts a higher accuracy rating than his more famous rival Punxsutawney Phil — who predicted six weeks more of winter — called for the early spring for the seventh year.

This is Chuck's 41st forecast.

Mayor Eric Adams introduced Chuck in the virtual ceremony and pleaded with the Staten Island weather rodent to give the city good news.

“Chuck please don’t see your shadow,” Adams said. “Bring on the sunny days!"

Staten Island Chuck obliged.
